Over 30 schools in Delhi were targeted with bomb threats...
A day after more than 30 schools in Delhi were targeted with bomb threats, similar emails were sent to several institutions on Saturday, according to Delhi Police.
"Once again, schools in Delhi, including DPS RK Puram and Ryan International School in Vasant Kunj, received bomb threat emails today," the police reported.
Authorities revealed that the schools received a group email at 6:12 a.m. from an address with the sender's name listed as Barry Allah.
Upon receiving the threats, school authorities immediately informed the police. Bomb squads and fire safety teams were dispatched to the locations, but no suspicious items have been discovered so far, officials confirmed.
The email threat reportedly read: "Allah sees your efforts to resist his punishment. But they are in vain, as no mortal can escape Allah's judgment. The Prophet Mohammed declares all who oppose Allah as enemies of the world. Your attempts to stop us will fail. The Prophet Mohammed permits the children to burn in the sacred flame of Allah."
It further stated: "On Saturday, when students may not be present in the buildings, is when they shall be brought down. Our bomb vests, blessed by the Prophet Muhammad, will not fail. Our children, brave servants of Allah, will complete their mission."
On Friday around 30 private schools in Delhi received similar emails, marking the second incident this week. A similar wave of hoax bomb threats occurred on December 9, when 44 schools were targeted.
The emails warned of potential explosions on December 13 and 14, claiming that "numerous explosives are on your school premises," capable of "destroying the buildings and causing harm to people."
The messages, reportedly sent by a group operating on the dark web, emphasized security gaps in schools, particularly noting "uniform school timings" and inadequate bag checks at entry points.
